Camp Traction was conceived in the summer of 2005 by a few friends who saw a need for a formal concept to address the absence of collective camping opportunities at music festivals.  The basic idea centered around the fact that as music festivals became more and more a part of the scene, there was no designated location for clean and sober attendees who desired a safer place to call "home" while at the festival.  The basic thought we had was, "we all know where the table is during the day and night when the music is happening but once the music stops, then what?"  Camp Traction addresses that need.Over the last few years we have been at some pretty big festivals including High Sierra, Bonnaroo and Rothbury to name a few.  Over the last few years, we have made alot of friends along the way and would love to think that it's availability has helped hundreds of people stay clean in an otherwise slippery situation.
